6 Leafed Rosette from Melos

Six-leafed rosette from Melos in granulation and filigree technique, in the second half of the 7th century B.C. Its centre occupies an eagle, whereas on the petals bees and gryphons alternate. It is probably part of the decoration of a diadem.
